Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Redmi Note 14 Pro. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, as well as for video calls. When it is faulty, you often notice a blurry or black image, a frozen image, or no display in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the screen or bend the connectors. Note the position of each screw and each ribbon cable to make reassembly easier.
Once the part is installed, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check sharpness, brightness and video call function. If you notice a problem, go back over the wiring before finishing the assembly.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any intervention
- Work with an anti-static mat to protect the components
- Never bend the ribbon cable and avoid forcing the connectors
- Test the camera before closing the casing
- Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it or bend it
