Description
This front camera is a compatible spare part for the Redmi Note 14S. It replaces the front-facing camera module, the one used for selfies and video calls. When it is faulty, you will often notice a blurry, black, distorted or missing image in the camera app or during a video call.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with a suitable tool to open the chassis without forcing it. Note the orientation of the ribbon cable before detaching it, then take a photo of the assembly to make reassembly easier. Avoid static discharge by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and switch the device on. Test the front camera, sharpness, brightness and video function. If your phone's battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it.
