Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the current front camera module when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or is no longer detected by the phone.
This is a compatible part for the Redmi Note 15 4G, made by a third party. It is an economical solution to restore the selfie function of your device without spending a large sum. Before starting, switch off the phone, remove the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity that can damage electronic components.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app in selfie mode to check sharpness and colours. If the camera does not appear, check that the ribbon cable is properly plugged in and that the connection is complete. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using a device whose battery is swollen.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity
- Check that the ribbon cable is properly plugged in before closing the device
- Test the front camera in selfie mode after fitting
