Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and unlocking the phone with facial recognition. This compatible part for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G lets you replace a damaged module, which can cause a blurred, black, distorted or missing image, or a facial recognition failure.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery where the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap, or regularly touch a metal earth, to avoid electrostatic discharge. Take the time to identify the ribbon cables and connectors carefully before disconnecting them.
Once the assembly is finished, switch the device back on and check the camera image before fully closing the casing. Also check focus, brightness and facial recognition if you use it. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and have it removed carefully.
