Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of the smartphone, used for selfies and video calls. This Compatible Redmi Note 7 Pro part lets you replace a faulty module: blurry, black or distorted image, or a camera that no longer opens in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a plastic spudger to avoid scratching the screen. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never bend the ribbon cables and handle them by their edges.
Once the fitting is complete, reconnect the battery, switch on the device and test the camera before fully closing the chassis. Check focus, brightness, the microphone during a video call, and the absence of unusual noise or reflections. If the current part shows damage to the ribbon cable, replace the cable too to prevent a new failure.
