Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Redmi Note 8 lets you replace a front camera that no longer works, shows a blurred or black image, or does not activate in apps.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a suction cup, and work on a clean, flat surface. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by staying in contact with an earthed metal surface.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the camera in the photo app and in a video conferencing app. Also keep an eye on the temperature during the first charge. If the current battery is swollen, do not use it, and do not puncture, bend or fold it.
