Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This replacement part, compatible with the Redmi Note 8T, restores this function when your current camera no longer activates, shows a blurry, black or distorted image, or displays spots and lines in photos.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Prepare a small screwdriver, a suction cup and a tray to store the screws. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal object. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending or pulling it.
Once the part is fitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check sharpness, brightness and video call functionality. If the current battery is swollen, do not reuse it: replace it.
