The front camera is the small module that captures your image for video calls and selfies. It is usually located at the top of the screen, on the front of the device. When it stops working, the screen may show a black or blurred image during video calls, or the camera app may report an error.
This compatible front camera is designed to replace the current part in the Redmi Note 9. It is a third-party part that fits the model indicated. Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge.
After replacement, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and that video calls work properly. If you notice any fault, disconnect again and check the connection of the flex cable.
