Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the device, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty front camera of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It restores a sharp image for video conferences and front-facing photos when the current module is cracked, blurry, black or no longer starts.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the chassis. Handle the new module by its edges so you do not touch the lens, and take care with static electricity. Check that the connector and the ribbon cable are properly seated before closing up.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the front camera app to check sharpness, focus and the absence of background noise. Also verify that the camera works in both usage orientations. If the device overheats abnormally or a battery is swollen, stop the repair and do not use the device any further.
