Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the phone, next to the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This replacement part is compatible with the Redmi Note 9S. It lets you restore the front camera when it is blurry, black, frozen or no longer switches on.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup to lift the screen without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cables with care, as they are fragile, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before touching the components.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and video call function. If the battery was disconnected, also make sure it is properly reconnected and that the screen responds normally.
