Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible replacement part is designed for the Redmi Note 9T. It lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurry, dark or distorted, or when the camera no longer activates at all.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the chassis. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it or pulling on the cable.
Once the module is installed, reconnect the battery before refitting the glass and screen. Then check the operation of the front and rear cameras, as well as the brightness and sharpness of the image. If your device's battery is swollen or damaged, do not try to repair it and stop using it.
