Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of the Redmi Pad tablet. It is used for video calls, selfies and video conferences. When the front camera no longer works, the image is black, blurry or missing from the camera app and calls.
Before you start, switch off the tablet completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and clean hands or protection against static electricity. Remove the current camera carefully, without forcing the delicate connectors of the ribbon cable. Do not bend the ribbon cable and never puncture the lithium battery.
After fitting, switch the tablet back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check the image in the camera app and during a test video call. If your device's battery is worn or swollen, stop using it and replace it before any repair.
