Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the device, the one used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Stylo 3 Plus, lets you replace the module of the current part when it no longer works properly. The most common faults are a blurred or black image, abnormal colours, or a camera that no longer appears in apps.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable tools and a small container so you don't lose the screws. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid puncturing or bending the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without forcing it, and protect yourself from static electricity.
Once assembly is finished, check the camera's operation in the photo app and during a test video call. Keep the device at a moderate temperature during the first trials, and only switch it back on after closing the phone properly.
