Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Stylo 5 when it no longer works, is blurry, stuck on a black image, or no longer appears in photo and video conferencing apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a flat plastic tool to open the casing without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the ribbon cable with care, as it is fragile and easily damaged if bent.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the phone completely: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and start a video call. If the battery has been disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise its operation. If the battery is swollen, do not use it.

- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Handle the ribbon cable gently, it tears easily

- A swollen battery must no longer be used
