Description
This compatible front camera replaces the photo module on the front of the tablet, the one used for video calls and selfies. It is intended for the Tab 4 (2014) model. It is a third-party part, offered as a compatible alternative for a home repair.
This type of module fixes the most common faults: black or frozen image, permanent blur, camera not detected by apps or an error message during a video call. If the current part is cracked or no longer responds, replacing it can restore the function. First check that the problem really comes from the camera, for example by testing the camera app and a calling app.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and disconnect its battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the components carefully to limit static electricity, and unplug the ribbon cables gently. After fitting, check the image, sound and focus before closing the device fully.
