Description
This compatible front camera replaces the camera module on the front of your Tab A8 (2021) tablet. It is used for video calls, selfies and face recognition when the device supports it. If the front camera no longer works, the image may be blurred, black or missing in video apps.
This is a compatible part made by a third party. Before fitting, switch off the tablet, disconnect it and work on a clean, dry surface. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it, and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
After reassembly, check that the device starts up, then test the camera in a photo app and a video call app. Also check that the frame closes properly and that the sealing gasket is not damaged. If in doubt about the battery, do not use it if it is swollen.
