Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your ThinkPhone XT2409 (2025). It handles image capture for video calls, selfies and face unlock when the current part is damaged, blurry or no longer responds. It is a compatible premium part made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with a picture quality close to that of the current part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure allows it. Work on a clean surface and use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers and protect yourself from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
Once the module is fitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the assembly: photo, video, focus and proximity sensor. If the image stays black or the device does not detect the camera, check the ribbon cable connection before going further.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any intervention
- Protect yourself from static electricity before handling the part
- Do not force the ribbon cable and avoid bending it
- Test the camera before closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend a swollen lithium battery: stop using it
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
