Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of the Tribute Monarch, the one used for selfies and video calls. It restores these functions when the image is blurry, black or distorted, or when the camera no longer activates.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the manual allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface to avoid discharges. Use suitable tools and avoid forcing the delicate connectors.
After replacement, reconnect the battery, switch the device on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before working
- Protect the ribbon cable against static electricity
- Do not force the camera connector
- Check operation before closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
