Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small camera module at the top of the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition. This compatible part is designed to replace a faulty front camera on a U11 Plus. It restores a sharp image when the camera is blurry, black, distorted or missing from the photo app list.
Made by a third party, it fits the indicated model without any particular modification. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a flat tool for lifting the ribbon cables and a clean tray for the screws. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity by working on a non-conductive surface. Do not bend the cables and handle the module by its edges.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check autofocus, brightness and sharpness in a photo app, then start a video call to check the sound and image. If the worn battery swells or heats up during handling, stop using it.
