Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the V21 model, replaces the faulty front camera of your device.
A failing front camera often shows up as a blurred, black or frozen image, or as a complete absence of the module in photo and video apps. Replacing it restores a sharp image for your video conferences and photos. First check that the current part is really the cause by testing the photo app with the rear camera.
Before you start, switch the device off and disconnect the battery when the ribbon cable is accessible, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal earth. After fitting, check the camera's operation, focus and brightness before fully closing the device.
