Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your image for video calls, selfies and face recognition. This compatible part is designed to replace the module of the LG V60 ThinQ 5G when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with suitable tools and protection against static electricity. Note the position of each screw and connector to make reassembly easier. Handle the ribbon cables with care and never force a connector.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the device completely: test the front photo and video, as well as face unlock if you used it. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it properly. If you notice a swollen battery, stop using the device.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Protect the part from static electricity and handle the ribbon cables carefully
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the camera before closing the device
- Note the position of the screws and connectors for reassembly
