Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the device. It is used for selfies, video calls and some recognition features. This part, compatible with the X Power 3, can replace the module when it is damaged. It helps correct a blurred, black, distorted or missing image, as well as a camera error message in apps.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cable. Work on a clean surface, preferably with an anti-static wrist strap, and avoid excessive heat. Do not pierce or bend the battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device.
After fitting, check the sharpness, brightness and operation of the camera in the photo app, then during a video call. Refit the ribbon cable carefully, without forcing the connectors, and check that the module is securely fixed before closing the device.
Tips

- Use an anti-static wrist strap and a clean surface during fitting
- Never force the ribbon cable connectors, they fit without pressure
- Do not pierce or bend the battery; if it is swollen, stop the operation
- Test the camera before closing the device
