Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front photo module of your X Power, the one used for selfies and video calls. When it is faulty, the image may be blurry, black, frozen or missing from the preview screen, and the camera app may show an error. Replacing this module restores a working front camera.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Remove the screws carefully and note where they go. Gently disconnect the ribbon cable from the current part, without forcing it or bending it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app, then test video and calls. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it.
