Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the Xiaomi 12X, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty module. It helps resolve common faults: blurred or black images, distorted photos, or a camera not detected by the photo app.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, ideally wearing an anti-static wrist strap, and avoid excessive heat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device.
After reassembly, check the front camera in the photo app and during a video call, then check focus and brightness. Never force the connectors and make sure the ribbon cable is properly clipped in.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the connection cables.
- Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity.
- Never force a connector: check that it is properly clipped in.
- Test the camera in the photo app before closing the device.
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
