Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of the Xiaomi 13, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part lets you replace a faulty module, for example when the image is blurry, black or distorted, or when the camera no longer activates in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, so you can work safely on the ribbon cables. Use a flat non-metallic tool to disconnect the connector, and avoid bending the ribbon cable. Protect the components from static electricity by working on a clean surface and touching a metal ground before handling the part.
After fitting, check focus, brightness and operation in the camera app and in a video call app before reassembling the phone. If the battery is swollen or damaged during the repair, stop using it. Stay careful with heat, and never puncture or bend a lithium cell.
