Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Y20s replaces the module when it no longer works: blurred, black or distorted image, or a camera app that refuses to open.
This camera is a compatible part made by a third party. It is not identical to the current part in your device, but it is designed to fit the Y20s model. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, discharge it if possible and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if you have one. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never bend the connectors.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check the focus, the brightness and the absence of background noise, then make sure the screen shows no defects. If the image remains abnormal, recheck the ribbon cable connection before concluding the part is faulty.
