Description
The front camera is the small photo module on the front of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the Y33s front camera when it no longer works, whether it is blurry, black or missing from the camera app.
If the current module shows a distorted image, spots or a permanent loading screen, replacing this module may be enough to get sharp photos again. Before you start, switch the phone off, disconnect the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean surface away from static electricity. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without folding them, and avoid excessive heat when removing parts.
After reassembly, switch the device back on and test the camera in the camera app and during a video call. Also check that the proximity sensor and screen brightness work properly, as they are often located nearby. If in doubt, repeat the check before fully closing the phone.
