Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of the Y69 smartphone. It is used for taking selfies, video calls and facial recognition when the device is equipped with it. If your front camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer appears in apps, the current part is probably the cause. A damaged ribbon cable or an impact can also cause these symptoms.
Before you begin, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery where the model's guide provides for it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and handle the module by its edges to avoid touching the lenses. Handling fragile connectors too roughly can damage them, so take your time.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing: take a photo, a video, switch between the cameras. Also check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in and that no dust is under the lens. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
