Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small camera module at the top of the screen, usually next to the display and the speaker. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition when your device supports it. This compatible part for the Y6P (2020) model replaces the current module when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in photo and video conferencing apps.
Made by a third party, it is offered as a compatible part and not as an original part. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the disassembly guide indicates it, and work on a clean surface. Avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface. Take care with the flexible ribbon cable that connects the camera to the board: it tears easily.
After reassembly, check the focus, brightness and absence of dust under the glass by testing the front camera in a dedicated app. Never force the connector and avoid moderate heat during handling.
