Description
This compatible front camera replaces the current part of the Y7 (2018) when the image is blurry, dark or missing during a video call or selfie. It is a component made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and antistatic tools if possible, to protect the electronic components from static electricity. Avoid forcing the ribbon cables, which are fragile, and handle the new camera by its edges.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check that the camera app opens, that the front camera works in video and that the image is sharp. Also make sure the proximity sensor and the other nearby elements work properly before closing the casing.
