Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your Y7 (2019), the one used for selfies and video calls. It fits in place of the current part, without modifying the rest of the device.
A faulty front camera shows up as a black, blurred, frozen or distorted image, or as the camera not being detected in the photo app. Replacing the module restores a sharp image for your video calls and selfies.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use a suitable tool so you do not force the connectors. After fitting, test the camera before closing the device.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work without static electricity and on a clean surface
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully so you do not fold them
- Test the camera before fully closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
