Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the front camera module of the Y72 5G when it is damaged, cracked or no longer working properly. It restores a sharp image for video conferences, portrait photos and opening certain apps that use the front camera.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and gather a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and a plastic opening tool to open the casing without scratching the back. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and work on a clean, dry surface. Avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal part, and never force the connectors.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the camera image before fully closing the casing. Test focus, brightness and operation in several apps. If the battery was disconnected or the phone behaves unusually, let it charge normally for a few cycles before intensive use.
