Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. When it stops working, the image stays black, blurry or frozen, and the camera or video conferencing app may show an error. This compatible front camera is designed to replace the faulty module of the Y76 5G and restore front-facing image capture.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, preferably with an anti-static mat, and handle the module by its edges to avoid discharging static electricity into the components. Take the time to dismantle the screen carefully and remove the ribbon cable of the current camera gently, without bending it.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch the device on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and the operation of both photo and video modes. If your phone's battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture it.
