This front camera is a compatible spare part for the Y9S model released in 2019. It lets you replace the front photo module when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer appears in video call and selfie apps. It is a part made by a third party, which makes it an affordable option for a repair on a small budget.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, use anti-static tools and avoid touching the gold contacts of the flex cable. Note the position of the screws and connectors to make reassembly easier. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
