Description
This front camera is a compatible spare part designed for the Z10 model. It replaces the front photo module, the one used for selfies and video calls. When the front camera is faulty, the image may be blurry, black, frozen or absent in apps that use the front lens. This replacement restores these functions without changing the whole device.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharges that can damage components. Never puncture, bend or force the lithium battery. If it appears swollen, stop using it. Be careful with the thin ribbon cables, which tear easily, and remove the current part gently.
Once assembly is finished, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and operation in a video app. If the image remains abnormal, check the ribbon cable connection again before any other intervention.
