Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the ZMax Pro (2016). It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition when the phone is equipped with it. This compatible part replaces the faulty module and restores a sharp image and normal operation of the front camera.
The most common faults are a blurred or black image, a camera that no longer launches in apps, distorted colours or jerky video. If the current part is cracked or has been exposed to an impact, replacement is usually necessary. Before you begin, switch off the device, work on a clean surface and use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it.
Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal object. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen. After assembly, check the camera in several apps, along with focus and brightness, before closing the casing completely.
