Description
This main camera is the rear camera of the Galaxy S21 FE model. It takes the device's main photos and videos. It is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed to replace a faulty rear camera. The most common faults it can fix are a blurred or distorted image, a black or frozen photo, focusing that no longer works, or a camera app that shows an error.
Before you start, switch your Galaxy S21 FE off completely and disconnect the battery if your device allows it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal earth before handling components. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use the device if the battery is swollen. Lift the ribbon cables carefully, without forcing them, and take the time to identify each connector properly.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the photo app by testing focus, zoom and video recording. Refit the cover only once the tests are conclusive. If the image still looks abnormal, redo the fitting and check the connectors.
