Description
This rear main camera is a spare part designed for the Realme GT Master. It handles taking photos and videos with the device's main lens. When it is faulty, you may notice a blurred, black or distorted image, spots, a camera app that crashes on launch, or a camera that no longer opens. This part is a compatible camera made by a third party, offered as an alternative to replace the current part.
Before you start, switch the Realme GT Master off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface in a well-lit area, and use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the camera by its edges and avoid touching the lens. Discharge static electricity before handling the components. Never bend the ribbon cables, disconnect them gently, and never puncture the lithium battery.
Once assembly is complete, switch the Realme GT Master back on and open the camera app. Test focus, zoom, brightness and video recording, both in daylight and in a dimly lit place. Check that no dust is under the lens and that the casing closes properly. If you notice abnormal overheating or a swollen battery, stop using the device immediately and check the connections again.
