Description
The ultra wide-angle camera Redmi Note 10s is the rear photo module that captures a wider scene than the main camera. It is used to photograph landscapes, groups of people or confined spaces, and to film with an expanded field of view. When it is faulty, you will often see a blurred, black, distorted or missing image when you select the wide-angle lens in the camera app. This module is a compatible part made by a third party, offered to help you repair your device at a lower cost.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the module by its edges, without touching the lens, and take care with the ribbon cable that connects it to the motherboard, as it is fragile. Use a suitable tool and never force anything.
Once the module is refitted and the device is switched back on, open the camera app and test the wide-angle lens, for both photo and video, checking for sharp focus and an image free of spots. Also check that the module does not overheat abnormally. If the part does not work as expected, first check the fitting and the connectors before drawing any conclusion.
