Description
This fingerprint sensor flex cable is designed for the Pixel 3 model. It connects the fingerprint sensor to the device's motherboard and lets you unlock the phone or authorise payments with your finger. When this sensor stops responding, the device no longer recognises the fingerprint, fingerprint unlocking is impossible or the sensor seems inactive. Replacing the flex cable fixes this type of fault, provided the failure really comes from the cable and not from another component.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. It is not an original part. Before starting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery when the cable requires it and work on a clean, static-free surface. Never force the connectors and do not bend the flex cable. For a lithium battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, power the device back on and check that the sensor is detected in the settings. Test registering a fingerprint, then unlocking several times. If the battery was disconnected, let the device stabilise before using it normally.

- Avoid static electricity: work on a clean surface
- Do not bend the flex cable and do not force the connectors
- Check the sensor in the settings after fitting
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
