Description
The Redmi Note 11 macro sensor is a small image sensor dedicated to the macro function of the rear camera. It allows the device to focus on very close objects, such as a flower, a text or a detail, with correct sharpness. When it is faulty, you often notice a blurred close-up photo, focus that fails to lock, or a macro mode missing from the camera app. The main camera usually works normally.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the connector allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools so the chassis is not scratched. Handle the component by its edges, without touching the lenses or contacts, and avoid static electricity. Check the orientation of the connector before refitting it, without forcing it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test macro mode on several close subjects in good light. If the device heats up abnormally, stop and recheck the connections. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
