Description
The macro sensor is a small rear camera module that lets you focus on very close subjects, such as a piece of text, a flower or a detail. It is fitted to the 2021 OPPO Reno7 Pro model. It complements the other sensors of the rear camera for close-up shots.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It lets you replace the current part at a lower cost. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with good lighting and an anti-static mat if possible. Handle the sensor by its edges, without touching the lens.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and open the camera app. Check the focus on a close object, the sharpness and the presence of any spots or unusual reflections. If the image is blurred or the macro mode does not appear, recheck the ribbon cable connection. A gentle cleaning of the lens may also help.

- Protect yourself from static electricity with a wrist strap or a mat
- Test the macro focus before closing the device again
- Never use a swollen, punctured or bent battery
