Description
This right-hand sensor for Nintendo Switch is part of the Face ID system, your device's facial recognition. It sits in the upper right of the front panel, close to the notch, and helps detect the position and distance of your face. When it is faulty or poorly connected, facial recognition can become slow, unstable or unavailable, and some Face ID error messages may appear.
This is a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer. It replaces the current part during a careful repair. Before you start, switch off the device, work on a clean surface and use suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, avoid static electricity and never force a connector. A swollen battery must never be used, and it must never be pierced or bent.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that facial recognition works properly in several lighting conditions. If an error message persists, recheck the connector before any other intervention.
