Description
This Galaxy S21+ chassis (US version, ref. G996U) is the central structure that holds all the internal components of the device. It serves as the mounting base for the motherboard, the battery and the ribbon cables, and protects the electronics from knocks. When it is damaged, bent or cracked, it can cause abnormal play in the assembled parts, poor closing of the front panel or intermittent contacts. This part is a compatible version, made by a third-party manufacturer, offered as an affordable alternative for repairing your device.
Before you start, switch the Galaxy S21+ off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible to avoid discharges on the components. Use suitable tools, without forcing, and keep the screws sorted by location. Moderate heat is enough to soften the adhesives: never heat excessively.
After reassembly, check that all parts are properly aligned and that the buttons respond correctly. Check that the front closes properly and that there is no play. If a swollen battery is present, do not use it and do not puncture it.
