Description
The mid-frame is the structural part placed between the front and rear of the device. It supports the internal components, holds the motherboard and battery in place, and keeps the whole assembly rigid. This compatible mid-frame for iPhone 14 Plus (US Version) is a replacement part made by a third party. It is suitable when the current part is bent, cracked or damaged after a fall, or when fixings no longer hold properly.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and have suitable tools ready. Keep the screws in the order they were removed to make reassembly easier. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
Once assembly is complete, check that all fixings are tight and that the ribbon cables are correctly clipped in. Test the device before closing it fully. For a reinstalled battery, carry out a few complete charge cycles to stabilise its behaviour. If anything seems abnormal, stop and recheck the connections.
