Description
The chassis is the metal or composite structure that serves as the internal support of the device. It holds the motherboard, the battery, the screen and the other components, and protects the whole assembly against impacts. For the Nintendo Switch, this part lets you replace a damaged, bent or cracked casing, for example after a drop, without replacing the entire device.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It should therefore be checked carefully before use: check the dimensions, the presence of all openings (buttons, charging port, speakers, cameras) and that the screws are properly secured. Prepare a clean workspace, protected from static electricity, and use an anti-static mat if possible. Keep the screws in a small tray so they do not get lost.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a swollen cell. After assembly, check the operation of each key, the charging port and the connections, then carry out a few full charge cycles to check the stability of the assembly.
