Description
The Nintendo Switch OLED chassis is the middle structure that holds the screen, motherboard and battery in place. It keeps the phone rigid and protects the internal components from knocks. Replacing this chassis lets you repair a bent, cracked or damaged frame after a fall, without replacing the whole device. This part is a compatible premium version, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with an appearance close to the current part.
Before you start, switch the device off and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the screws sorted by position so they don't get mixed up. Gently warm the edges with a heat gun on a moderate setting to loosen the adhesive without damaging neighbouring parts. Handle the ribbon cables with care and never bend them.
After reassembly, check that the buttons fit properly, that the screen is securely attached and, if the device has one, that it is still watertight. Power on the phone and test each element. If the battery is swollen, do not use it, and never puncture or bend it.
