Description
The Pixel 9a chassis (Iris) is the central structure of the device. It supports the internal components, holds the screen and the casing in place, and protects the motherboard and the battery from impacts. When it is bent or damaged, the assembly can come loose, the fixings become loose and the internal parts are exposed.
This part is an original manufacturer part, or an official “Service Pack”. Its appearance and battery life are identical to new. It is intended to replace the old chassis during a complete repair. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery, work on a clean surface and note the position of each screw so they do not get mixed up.
After assembly, check that all fixings are securely tightened, that the screen and casing align correctly and that no cable is trapped. Only switch the device back on after these checks. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
