Description
This display circuit, referenced U1501, is an electronic part designed to replace the circuit that drives the screen of the iPhone 6. When it is faulty, the screen may stay black, show lines, incorrect colours or an unstable image. This part is a compatible version made by a third party: it is designed to fit the iPhone 6 model, without its operation being guaranteed to be identical to that of the current part.
Before any intervention, switch the device off, remove the battery if the procedure allows it and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a grounded metal surface to avoid discharging static electricity onto the components. Handle the circuit by its edges and avoid bending the connection ribbons, which are fragile.
After fitting, carefully check the correct positioning of the connectors before powering the device back on. Watch the heat of the device during the first starts: moderate warmth is normal, but any abnormal heating should lead to an immediate shutdown. If the battery is swollen, do not try to puncture or bend it, and stop using it.
