The display circuit iPhone 6S (ref. U4000) is an electronic component that connects your device's screen to the motherboard. It carries the signals that produce the image, and a fault in this component can cause a black screen, lines, frozen areas or a flickering image. This part is a compatible version made by a third party, and it allows you to repair your iPhone 6S yourself at a low cost.
Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal earth to avoid discharges. Ribbon cables are fragile: lift the connectors with a flat tool, without forcing or bending the circuit. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it.
After reassembly, reconnect the battery, then check the display at different brightness levels and across several uses. Monitor the device's temperature during the first uses and carry out a few full charge cycles before judging the result.
